FROM (8:00am – 1:00pm)
March 3rd Union Hall CLOSED
March 17th Union Hall Open
(The following class is the new mandatory national standard
for riggers and signalmen)March 24rd - Rigging/Signalman - JIW testing & hands on evaluations
(8:00am – until everyone is tested)
This is for Any journeyman that has not attended an Apprenticeship
Must pre register for this class by January 13, 2012 in person at the hall
You must also buy the required reference manual & work book for the self study portion of this class. This will be the only time this year that we will offer this course to Journeyman
April 21st & 28th - Foreman Training (8:00am - 2:30pm)
(MANDATORY CLASSES FOR ALL APPRENTICES PRIOR TO TOP OUT)
May 5th & 12th - SHOP OPEN (8:00am – 1:00pm)
May 19th - Apprenticeship Competition & Ironworker BB-Q
June 23rd - Forklift Training / Certification
(8:00 am until everyone is tested)
AUTHORIZED PERSON FALL PROTECTION CERTIFICATION -
This is a MANDATORY CERTIFICATION for any Ironworker who works or will be working at the CAPE.
You MUST have this certification - there is a pre-employment requirement to have this certification BEFORE you will be able to work at the CAPE.
This certification can not be issued on demand at the Union Hall -
you MUST attend the scheduled classes in order to obtain this certification.
